Pendants were taken to the Nyanoma Hospital in Gulu, and after an autopsy revealed that the hair was a result of a broken head and internal injuries, police have ordered them released.
“We have confiscated three men’s jewellery (in an attempt to prove for us that this jewellery was made by hand),” a female police officer told AFP from Gulu.

Two men were arrested near the Nyanoma hospital for questioning as they had apparently handed over the jewellery.
Pending further investigation, police also ordered the release of four more men – including a 15-year-old Nigerian girl – accused of gang crimes.
Police also ordered the release of a 24-year-old Chinese national, accused of a similar crime, to protect his family.
Last week, three Chinese nationals, aged 21, 31 and 18, were arrested after an operation outside Gauteng Provincial police station. Two suspects have been handed over to local police in order to be transferred to neighbouring countries.
The latest raid comes shortly after local leaders, especially in the west, are openly voicing concerns over the possible security threats emanating from the recent spate of mass murders in Uganda.
